Rich Tomasello is from Buffalo New York.  He earned a BFA in Illustration from the University at Buffalo and an MA in Art Education from Buffalo State College.  Tomasello’s mixed-media work has been featured on The Huffington Post and has been shown in many group and solo exhibitions.

Chuck Tingley

Chuck Tingley holds a BFA in Painting from SUNY Buffalo State. A native of Buffalo, he relocated to Lockport, NY in 2013 and currently maintains a studio in Buffalo’s Niagara Frontier Food Terminal. Solo exhibitions of Tingley’s work have been held at the Olean Public Libray in Olean, NY, El Museo Gallery and Buffalo Arts Studio in Buffalo. He has also been included in group exhibitions at the Burchfield Penney Art Center and the Erie Art Museum in Erie, PA. He has been awarded public art commissions by Artpark in Lewiston, Glow Gallery in Buffalo, and the Albright-Knox Art Gallery

Working mainly with black and white acrylic ink, Webb use a variety of techniques including line work, washes, gel pen and gold leaf to portray worlds of darkness, mystery and beauty. Minimal use of color helps to draw the viewer’s attention and amplify the meaning of specific objects

Kyle Butler

Kyle Butler is an artist from Michigan currently living in Buffalo. Butler’s work has been included in exhibitions at the Albright-Knox Art Gallery, the Burchfield Penney Art Center, Buffalo Arts Studio, Hallwalls Contemporary Arts Center, Nina Freudenheim Gallery, Exhibit A (Corning, NY), and Lost Coast Culture Machine (Fort Bragg, CA). 

Mark Lavatelli

Painter Mark Lavatelli exhibited his work in the Southwest in the 1980’s and subsequently in New York and nationally. Made mainly with the ancient medium of encaustic, Lavatelli’s paintings, prints, and installations demonstrate a love of nature, especially trees, and concern for the environment.  Lavatelli is Professor Emeritus of Art at Medaille College. He is an art writer and is co-author of Richard Diebenkorn in New Mexico, published by the Museum of New Mexico Press.  Education: MFA, University of New Mexico, MA, University of Illinois, BA, Cornell University.

Karen Tashjian

Karen J.S. Tashjian received a BS in Design, Fine Arts, and Architecture, and a B.Arch. in Architecture, both from Cornell University.  Though currently painting full-time, she is also a licensed architect. Her paintings are frequently architectural and I find particular interest in things that are commonly overlooked.

Alyssa Capri

Residing and working in Buffalo, New York, Alyssa Capri has been a professional artist for nearly ten years. She has painted several local murals, participated in group exhibitions in NYC, and held a solo exhibition at Project 308 Gallery. Alyssa’s work has been published internationally and locally, in print. Her artwork centers on figurative and portraiture.

Sara M. Zak is a Western New York visual artist specializing in oil painting and ephemeral, interactive installations. Sara’s recent work explores the shifting nature of time, place, concept, actuality, and materials.

Tara Sasiadek

Tara Sasiadek is an artist, philosopher, and entrepreneur who lives and works in Buffalo, NY. The artist has studied philosophy, painting, and human development, and received their MFA in Visual Art from the Vermont College of Fine Arts. They are a founding member and past President of non-profit Emerging Leaders in the Arts Buffalo, and served as Vice President to the Buffalo Society of Artists.

Krista Mezzadri

Krista Mezzadri is a self-taught artist originally from Ohio who is based in Buffalo, New York. Her interest lies in the convergence of process, materials, and elements of nature. Working in a variety of media, her current practice is focused on monotype-printmaking, and she maintains an experimental approach to her work. Mezzadri has gallery affiliations with Francis Gallery (Bath, UK); The Cold Press Gallery (London, UK); Amelie Maison d’Art (Paris, France). She has been featured in volume 12 of Pressing Matters Magazine printing publication (2020).
