Rich Tomasello is from Buffalo New York. He earned a BFA in Illustration from the University at Buffalo and an MA in Art Education from Buffalo State College. Tomasello’s mixed-media work has been featured on The Huffington Post and has been shown in many group and solo exhibitions.
Chuck Tingley
Chuck Tingley holds a BFA in Painting from SUNY Buffalo State. A native of Buffalo, he relocated to Lockport, NY in 2013 and currently maintains a studio in Buffalo’s Niagara Frontier Food Terminal. Solo exhibitions of Tingley’s work have been held at the Olean Public Libray in Olean, NY, El Museo Gallery and Buffalo Arts Studio in Buffalo. He has also been included in group exhibitions at the Burchfield Penney Art Center and the Erie Art Museum in Erie, PA. He has been awarded public art commissions by Artpark in Lewiston, Glow Gallery in Buffalo, and the Albright-Knox Art Gallery

Alana Adetola is a fine art painter & photographer based in Buffalo, New York. Alana’s work straddles the fine line between editorial-style photography and fine-art painting & photography. Her persistent craving for exploring new image-making techniques, coupled with her passion for making real life connections, allow Alana to create images that allow the viewer to look beyond the photograph and into her refreshing world view.
Fajemisin is an active participant in the Western New York arts community. Having developed & organized local photography arts programming for a number of years, Alana continues to share her love of photography with some of Buffalo’s most prominent local organizations; from photographing local events & fundraisers, to documenting community-based arts projects.

YAMES Moffitt
James Moffitt, aka YAMES, is a Buffalo native and co-founder of Pine Apple Company, an artist collective and gallery/gift shop located in Buffalo’s Allentown neighborhood. YAMES is a multidisciplinary graphic artist who specializes in gold leaf, hand-painted signs, typography, illustration, murals, and more.
You can see his work on businesses throughout Buffalo, including Sato Ramen, Hydraulic Hearth, Swan Street Diner, Larkin Square, Detailer’s Barbershop and National Grid’s Terminal Station B. In 2020, YAMES completed two original mural projects for the Buffalo AKG Art Museum’s Public Art Initiative, and has assisted them on numerous other projects as well. Last year Yames received two grants in order to grow his practice of gold leaf glass signs and begin offering workshops out of his studio. Kyle Butler is an artist from Michigan currently living in Buffalo. Butler’s work has been included in exhibitions at the Albright-Knox Art Gallery, the Burchfield Penney Art Center, Buffalo Arts Studio, Hallwalls Contemporary Arts Center, Nina Freudenheim Gallery, Exhibit A (Corning, NY), and Lost Coast Culture Machine (Fort Bragg, CA).
Mark Lavatelli
Painter Mark Lavatelli exhibited his work in the Southwest in the 1980’s and subsequently in New York and nationally. Made mainly with the ancient medium of encaustic, Lavatelli’s paintings, prints, and installations demonstrate a love of nature, especially trees, and concern for the environment. Lavatelli is Professor Emeritus of Art at Medaille College. He is an art writer and is co-author of Richard Diebenkorn in New Mexico, published by the Museum of New Mexico Press. Education: MFA, University of New Mexico, MA, University of Illinois, BA, Cornell University.
Karen Tashjian
Karen J.S. Tashjian received a BS in Design, Fine Arts, and Architecture, and a B.Arch. in Architecture, both from Cornell University. Though currently painting full-time, she is also a licensed architect. Her paintings are frequently architectural and I find particular interest in things that are commonly overlooked.
Kelly Tomasello
Kelly Tomasello has been in the NFFT since 2024 and has a pottery studio within Untitled Studios. Her current focus is ceramic sculptures that explore the self and our connection to earth and universal elements. She offers pottery classes through her website.
Sarah Field Sonnenberg
Sarah Field Sonnenberg, a Buffalo-based oil painter and art educator, brings over 15 years of experience within the Western New York art scene. Her work draws deeply from personal memories, particularly the influence of the women in her life and their connection to gardening—her grandmother’s visits to botanical gardens and her mother’s dedication to her own garden being key inspirations. In her paintings, Sonnenberg captures the delicate and temporary beauty of flowers, exploring themes of growth, aging, and the fleeting nature of existence. Inspired by poets like Mary Oliver, she names each piece after a line of poetry, aiming to evoke a spectrum of emotions while honoring the resilience and grace found in both women and nature.

Sara M. Zak is a Western New York visual artist specializing in oil painting and ephemeral, interactive installations. Sara’s recent work explores the shifting nature of time, place, concept, actuality, and materials.
Tara Bystran
Tara Sasiadek is an artist, philosopher, and entrepreneur who lives and works in Buffalo, NY. The artist has studied philosophy, painting, and human development, and received their MFA in Visual Art from the Vermont College of Fine Arts. They are a founding member and past President of non-profit Emerging Leaders in the Arts Buffalo, and served as Vice President to the Buffalo Society of Artists.

Krista Mezzadri is a self-taught artist originally from Ohio who is based in Buffalo, New York. Her interest lies in the convergence of process, materials, and elements of nature. Working in a variety of media, her current practice is focused on monotype-printmaking, and she maintains an experimental approach to her work. Mezzadri has gallery affiliations with Francis Gallery (Bath, UK); The Cold Press Gallery (London, UK); Amelie Maison d’Art (Paris, France). She has been featured in volume 12 of Pressing Matters Magazine printing publication (2020).

My studio is home to one of only 200 working analog photo booths in the United States, offering a rare and nostalgic photography experience. It’s where I develop and scan my film photography, digitize VHS footage from weddings and events I’ve shot on film and VHS, and capture unique moments in a dedicated photo studio. The space also serves as a hub for creativity, where I design custom-painted shoes and craft innovative fashion pieces. Additionally, I collect, buy, and sell VHS, film, and digital cameras, connecting with local photography enthusiasts and fostering a vibrant creative community.
